Oakglen Wealth is proud to sponsor the return of ArtHouse Jersey’s highly anticipated ‘Live at the Barracks‘ music series for 2025. Set in the historic Grève de Lecq Barracks, the series brings together an exciting lineup of local and international artists for a celebration of live music and community spirit. This partnership reflects Oakglen Wealth’s ongoing commitment to supporting the arts in Jersey and enriching the island’s cultural landscape through meaningful collaborations. The below press release covers more information on this event and what key stakeholders have to say.

ArtHouse Jersey launches ‘Live at the Barracks 2025’ music series, proudly sponsored by Oakglen Wealth

St. Helier, 29 July 2025ArtHouse Jersey is proud to announce the return of its much-loved Live at the Barracks music series, now bolstered by a new partnership with Oakglen Wealth as headline sponsor. This year’s series shines a spotlight on emerging and locally cherished talent, set against the intimate and atmospheric backdrop of the historic barracks at Greve de Lecq, ArtHouse Jersey’s HQ. Each performance in the series embraces a stripped-back, acoustic approach, with artists sharing stories behind their songs and creative process, offering audiences a rare and personal connection to the music.

Kicking off the series on Friday 22 August is acclaimed singer-songwriter Emily Faye, whose distinctive blend of pop and country has won praise from Rolling Stone magazine as ‘one to watch’. With roots in Jersey and a first-class honours degree in songwriting, Emily brings both professionalism and passion to the stage. As co-founder of the ‘Write Like A Girl’ movement, which champions female voices in music, her stripped-back, storytelling performance promises to be an emotive and empowering start to the season.

Emily will be followed by two more standout artists; Nic Dinnie who will perform on Friday 24 October and Joe Rogerson on Friday 28 November.

Nic Dinnie is a long-time favourite in Jersey’s live music scene, known for his captivating stage presence and a sound that sits comfortably between modern indie and vintage soul. Drawing inspiration from legends such as Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, and John Mayer, Nic has developed a smooth, jazzy vocal style layered over rich acoustic melodies. His performances are more than just technically skilled; they’re deeply personal, inviting listeners into a reflective, emotionally grounded space. At Live at the Barracks, Nic will deliver a stripped-back set that brings his storytelling and musical dexterity to the fore, offering audiences a rare chance to experience the depth of his artistry in an intimate setting.

Born and raised in Jersey, Joe Rogerson is a self-taught guitarist and singer-songwriter whose music carries the raw edge and anthemic energy of 90s Britpop. Influenced by iconic bands like The Beatles, Oasis, and The Stone Roses, Joe made his mark locally as frontman of the beloved early-2000s band The Dirty Trades. His solo work retains the spirit of rebellion and honesty that defined that era, but it’s now tempered with warmth, humour, and a connection to community. With his gritty vocals and emotionally charged acoustic guitar work, Joe’s Live at the Barracks performance promises both nostalgia and newness, a powerful reminder of the enduring power of local talent.

Director of ArtHouse Jersey, Tom Dingle, said, “We’re thrilled to be bringing Live at the Barracks back with the support of Oakglen Wealth. This series creates space for artists to connect with audiences in an honest, stripped-back way, and having Emily Faye open the season sets the tone beautifully. It’s about storytelling, emotion and sharing creativity in a truly special setting.”

Investments may have no public market or only a restricted secondary market. Where a secondary market exists, it is not possible to predict the price at which investments will trade in the market or whether such market will be liquid or illiquid. As such, for investments not listed or traded on any exchange, pricing information may be more difficult to obtain, and the liquidity of the investments may be adversely affected. A holder may be able to realise value prior to an investment’s maturity date only at a price in an available secondary market. The issuer of the investment may have entered into contracts with third parties to create the indicated returns and/or any applicable capital protection (in part or in full). The investment instrument's retention of value is dependent not only on the development of the value of the underlying asset, but also on the creditworthiness of the Issuer and / or Guarantor (as applicable), which may change over the term of the investment instrument. In the event of default by the issuer and/or Guarantor of the investment, and / or any third party the investment any income derived from such contracts is not guaranteed and you may get back none of, or less than, what was originally invested. Parties other than the Issuer or Guarantor (as appropriate) mentioned in this document (for instance the Lead Manager, Co-structurer, Calculation Agent or Paying Agent) do neither guarantee, repayment of the invested capital nor financial return on the investment product, if nothing is indicated to the contrary. Any capital protection given is usually an inherent part of the product; provided through the use of options, futures or other derivative products. You may have to accept smaller returns on an investment relative to a direct investment in the underlying index, basket, etc. because of the costs involved in providing the capital protection. Such capital protection normally only applies if the investment is held until maturity. The amount of initial capital to be repaid may be geared, which means that a fall in the underlying index or securities may result in a larger reduction in the amount repaid to investors. Alternative investments, derivatives or structured products are complex instruments that typically involve a high degree of risk and are intended for sale only to investors who are capable of understanding and assuming the risks involved. Structured products carry counterparty risk, in that in the event of default by the issuer you may lose some or all of your capital invested even when the product carries capital guarantees. Where this document relates to emerging markets, such investments should be made only by sophisticated investors or experienced professionals, who have independent knowledge of the relevant markets, are able to consider and weigh the various risks presented by such investments and have the financial resources necessary to bear the substantial risk of loss of investment in such investments.
